Course Overview
The 16PF is a world-renowned personality inventory with decades of research and data behind it. It establishes a fully-rounded picture of the whole individual, and is commonly used in a wide variety of applications, including career selection and development, leadership selection and development, individual and couple counselling.
This 2-day workshop is especially suitable for participants interested in exploring and unlocking human potential: educators, leadership coaches, career coaches, hiring managers, HR professionals and counsellors will know the person’s personality traits that influence the way he works and interact with others. Plans and strategies can then be created for career, leadership, personal development and corporate advancement.
Leading in a dynamic, interactive, and learner-centric way, Dr Thom Needham & Dr Mandy Cao will review the instrument in detail (including application of key findings from research, statistical structure, instrument and profile validity, and cross-cultural versatility), familiarize participants with relevant literature and research, share their practical experiences in administering and interpreting 16PF findings in career, counselling and corporate settings, and diving deep into psychometric knowledge.
The workshop will also cover the use of computer-generated reports such as the Basic Score Report (BSR), Career & Leadership Development Report, Couples Counseling Report (CCR), Adolescent Personality Questionnaire and the Psych Evaluation Personality Questionnaire Interpretation (PEPQI).
Teaching, discussion and sharing will be appropriately framed based on the assumption that participants do not have formal graduate-level knowledge in psychology.
