Debts & You
Course Overview
In this world of sophistication, the rich, popular and famous are defined by what they have, what cars they drive, what brands of clothes they wear, and where they stay. The definition of success is superficial and skin-deep. Scratch beneath the surface, and you may discover a sad truth.

Teaching our children and youths to develop a right co-relation between personal finance and success from young will positively influence the many important choices they will make later on in life.

This talk will focus on the implications of borrowing money and thus incurring debt. It presents two images for the audience to ponder the definition of a successful person: a debt-laden person with lots of cool gadgets, handbags and stuff, or a man with little or no borrowings but with lesser material things.
We propose that being happy with oneself, rather than accumulation of wealth or things, is important. The audience will be learn what constitutes happiness. The final wisdom we hope to impart to the audience is that ‘living below our financial means’ while anchored on core values such as integrity, honesty, humility & empathy should be our foundational pillars when dealing with money.
