Someone asked us recently, 'Orego. What is the significance of this name?'

A simple question, but one that causes us to ponder deeply about what is it at the core of Orego's DNA.

Right from the word go, we envisage Orego to be THE place where people can come to be renewed and revitalized, and be equipped with more life and work skills to contribute to the companies they come from and to enrich their own lives.

The word, Orego, aptly reflects our vision; it is a greek word, ὀρέγω, meaning 'I stretch forth, mid: I hanker after, long for, am eager for, aspire to'.

Two things are key in Orego's vision.

We seek to 'renew and revitalized' people who come to us through professional helping-related services. Pushing against the strong tides of life and work struggles, they feel downtrodden and alone. Orego's Counselling Services supports and helps them to stretch forth towards regaining perspective and footing.

For those who aspire to be better persons, better employees, we provide high-quality, niche and valued courses that equip our clients with knowledge and skills to be more effective and productive. We do not want to be a ‘one-stop shop’ for all forms of training in every discipline; Orego focuses on certain key industries. It is our deliberate strategic direction to ensure that we are constantly keeping pace with the industry development and is cognizant of their training needs. This allows us to regularly seek out knowledge and skills gaps, and develop training services to help clients to achieve their objectives.

We at Orego will always ask ourselves these questions:
  • How can we be a blessing to people ?
  • Where are the training and service gaps ?

A final word. Orego is all about inspiring people to aspire to their fullest potential.

Welcome to Orego! Please feel free to explore our website. We will be happy to hear from you.
